Project: Testimonial for Hazel Stride

Hazel Stride has proven to be an excellent and resourceful addition to our team. She has managed three key projects for Selfridges, including helping to relaunch 140 own label lines and the Christmas Hamper project.
Hazel's first assignment was to manage a project last autumn for our food concessions range that involved the day-to-day management and communications of the project. She quickly came up to speed and was very resourceful at investigating how things happened.
We found Hazel to be particularly good at finding answers and offering alternative solutions in a proactive way. She made a positive impact in the first eight weeks and fitted quickly into our team.
Recently, we asked Hazel back to work on another project that involved relaunching Selfridges' own label (Selfridges Selection), plus a buying and project management role for our Hampers and Gift ranges. She helped project manage all 140 skus working with the technical people, packaging, design, suppliers and buyers. She was very well organised in keeping everything moving, managing budgets and timelines, especially keeping everything on track.
For three days a week Hazel achieved an enormous amount – she just picked up and ran with whatever needed to be done! Hazel is good at making things happen and quickly fitting in and working in a team.
Overall Hazel has excellent verbal and written communication skills, she is very commercial and gets the job done, and she works around obstacles and provides solutions that will work. She is good at keeping everyone informed and making sure the actions are implemented. We would certainly recommend Hazel and would welcome her back on our team again.
